I second chaired a case with him that ultimately resolved with a favorable resolution for the client. Additionally, we have cases that we each represent co-defendants.

Q. When did you work with this lawyer?
May of 2023. He has been a person I have also observed in court for the last 3 years.
Q. Was this lawyer an effective advocate/counselor and why?
Yes

Absolutely was an effective advocate for his client. I witnessed him in trial for a client that was on trial for, among other charges, attempted murder. His advocacy ultimately resulted in the client being acquitted on the attempted murder charge, which reduced the client's maximum prison sentence several years.

He makes the appropriate objections and reasonable legal arguments.

He has the unique gift to see the forest through the trees. Many attorneys get caught up with the small details they miss the big picture. Not Mike.

Communication Skills: Excellent

He is a real person with real life experience. Very relatable. It's as if he doesn't try to sound like a lawyer, but rather someone who is advocating for his client. Uses words that everyday people use and makes arguments that anyone can follow.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

Very professional. I have never seen him late for court. Respectful to everyone in the courtroom.
