Confident and Knowledgeable I recently became in need of legal counsel and was blessed to have found Mr. Marner. From our first meeting, he listened, was very patient and understanding. He spent a lot of time reviewing my case; hours of footage, note taking and hours of conversations communicating everything. An attorney you can trust with your case I highly recommend Matthew Marner as a defense attorney after my superb experience being his client. One decision I don't regret, hiring Mr. Matthew Marner. You hear the lawyer jokes “What do you call 5 lawyers at the bottom of the sea?” “A good start” But, it would be a true tragedy to both the profession and world if Matthew Marner were one of them. No one ever really wants to be in need of a lawyer and I certainly did not. I am truly grateful that I hired Mr. Marner. From the very start he listened to me, guided me, talked me off the ledge and continued to keep me focused and moving forward. This was my first time in the legal system which I very much distrust. I valued the time he would take to educate me on the legal definitions (they count). And when it came time to plead (it was my best choice), he steadfastly stood by me and provided the tools I needed to get to the finish line. He clearly defined the possible outcomes of each option. What did I need? What were the implications and how best could I take back control? Communication with Mr. Marner was a breeze. If it were necessary to leave a message, he would promptly return my call. He was a Godsend. direct, honest and human. He allowed me to process the options without pressure, I never felt judged. I was very emotional and immediately would catastrophize any new information. Until I could hear it, he would calmly give me more information and clarity. Amazing Public Defender!! I recently came into need of Matt's services with a criminal case that I was involved in.
