Worst Arbitrator Ever While Ms. Spoltore came highly recommended as an Arbitrator for a financial dispute between my ex-husband and me, she made egregious errors in her Order--including failing to conduct IRS research sworn she would conduct at the closing of our hearing. In addition, she made simple mathmatical errors in our final Order that needed further correction. While she noted her decision would be rendered within days, it sat on her desk and "went awry" (her words) for at least a month; in fact, it took one of the attorneys (more money) to nudge her for the decision. She was completely oblivious during the most of the hearing, failing to declare order when irrelevant material was being presented. Finally, she chose to apply a "black-and-white" read to only certain sections of our divorce agreement; an honorable Arbitrator applies that same read throughout the contractual dispute.
