Laura Fine is a ferocious advocate who is quite aggressive in court, but privately, in meetings with clients and in her negotiations with prosecutors, she is compassionate, empathetic, understanding and wise. She is also a phenomenal negotiator.

Laura is a highly effective communicator who knows how to adjust her style depending on who she is talking to and is more persuasive than virtually anyone I know. She is clear, direct, honest, and kind. A difficult combination!

Laura is highly ethical and works extremely hard, all the time, in a field where it is all too common for people to burn out, lose interest and cut corners. I've spoken with many past clients and have always heard that she was scrupulously honest and fair in all her dealings with them. In addition to being a superb attorney, Laura is an amazing mentor. I have lost count of the lawyers I've met that she has advised, helped, and trained. She is the driving force behind the states best trial skills program and incredibly generous with her time and expertise.
