Justie and the entire team are amazing! Justie was very compassionate, caring, kind, understanding, and professional. I took a chance having to find an attorney out of my state and I was very grateful and fortunate to find Justie. The entire team was very prompt, professional and helpful. I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome of their efforts and knowledge. I would recommend Justie and her team to anyone.

My heroine in my 8 month civil case for My Valentine When I hire Justie, I found a glimmer of hope in the judicial jungle. My civil court experience without Justie Dee Nicole was dismal at best, having previously hired 2 other civil lawyers and had them both back out of my complex case, leaving me on my own to navigate through civil court motions & proceedings in a world I was unfamiliar with. Justie became my guiding force through the legal process. My ex had withheld My Valentine (my then 2 1/2 yr old Border Collie), whom I had been caring for all of his life. Then in December 2023, I hired Justie and her firm, it was THE BEST move I could have made. While part of my very complicated case is still ongoing into April 2024, the most important first part has been ruled on. My Valentine belongs to me. I got My Valentine back from my ex two days after trial with a judgment in my favor. He was returned to me by court order of the judge at the trial on February 27th, 2024 where Justie performed beautifully. And now My Valentine is back in my arms where he belongs. I could not be more grateful, there are not words to describe my gratitude for after 8 long months of heartache and sadness, I have my boy. And he is in good condition, a little skinny, and he is very very happy to be back with me. I am deeply grateful that Justie is who she is and that she has a great firm behind her and that they continue to work on my behalf to the end of my case. Not all lawyers are the same, some are just better and more experienced at what they do. I have had at least 5 (7) lawyers in the last 12 months and they are not all the same. After a lifetime of not needing lawyers to help me fight my legal battles, I am forever grateful for my heroine Justie Dee Nicole and credit to my hero Vince Buckmelter, both great lawyers and both a great credit to their profession. Buyers Beware She paraded around taking on a family court case when she was a criminal lawyer. To begin with she's talentless. In addition, she's a liar and nothing more than money hungry. She advised me in the most horrible of ways and although she cashed in on $4000.00 in a very short amount of time that was undeserving in every which way because she wholeheartedly half assed everything in my case. Don't go with her and her "holistic" approach. None of the lawyers even in her company have stayed from a year ago. What does that say about her beyond what I have shared? She's flat out unethical... She portrays herself as authentic and caring but underneath the surface once she's gotten plenty of your money while providing very little work towards your case she will finally show her greedy fangs. She acts courteous but before too long you'll regretfully learn it was a facade. Her bills are paid but nothing regarding your case was accomplished to reflect the talent and care she claims she has for individuals. Did I mention she was advising in an area of law that she knew NOTHING about and failed me and my children? I should also mention that if you ever find your voice and approach her be prepared to experience her narcissistic and gaslighting talents to her clients while of course still remaining money hungry in a manner that doesn't even match her actual capacity and talent. Justie Dee Nicol's Response: Hello Ashley, thank you for taking the time to let us know your feelings. We just wish you’d have brought these to our attention 9+ months ago when we represented you. In review of your bills, we did a substantial amount of work coordinating with other attorneys representing you, and our representation spanned several months. We also “no-charged” nearly $500 worth of work, and did not receive any notice of billing problems until this review. Our entire team worked on your case, including our on-staff family law paralegal, our in-house legal assistant, our seasoned family law attorney (who is also a CFI), and the owner of the firm. We reiterated that you retained us for a specific portion of the issues you were facing and we were not able to assist with legal questions outside the scope of our representation. We are truly sorry you were dissatisfied. Unfortunately, the law is not always fair. The reason your case was assigned to the primary attorney was due precisely to the overlap with a criminal case, but the entire family law division worked on your matter and they have been with us for many years now. We simply do not take some types of cases, and our hands were tied based on other issues. If there is anything we can do to help make this right, please let us know privately.
