Completely Unsatisfactory Julita “represented” me in as a contract attorney for the public defenders office. Her legal services were extremely poor. Julita was not professional, not courteous, not caring, not empathetic. She was totally disinterested and lazy. She did no work at all; she refused to do any discovery, nor look at any of the evidence to defend me properly. Additionally, I believe Julita will do anything to not represent, and to stay out of trail, even if it puts her clients’ life and liberty at risk. Julita Leavell's Response: I am a very dedicated and zealous advocate for the many thousands of clients I have represented in the last quarter century. There are considerable issues in this client's past and present that prevent her from constructing an accurate and reality based review. I cannot and will not go into specific details, but suffice it to say, I am not the first, nor will likely be the last person this client feels is conspiring and working against her. All one can do in that situation is well document all efforts made on behalf of the client and continue to work zealously, as I did, despite a lack of acknowledgment of the work and effort I put into navigating this client through this process. Unfortunately, until this client gets some help for her issues, I will not be the first (actually 3rd) provider to fall prey to her ire.
