Josh and I have never worked on a case together but we have spoken together about his matters.

Mr. Friedman served as President of of National Employment Law Association/NY Chapter while I served as its Vice-President. We were also involved together in various litigated matters, both in the context of the bar association leadership and in private litigation, I was able to observe his communication skills, ethics and professionalism.

In litigation, Mr. Friedman agreed to represent, pro-bono, certain non-party witnesses, in cases in which I was lead counsel for the plaintiff, to prevent adversarial witness intimidation in testimony or in order to avoid representational conflict. I have also had the opportunity to observe him during various continuing legal education programs in which Mr. Friedman imparted his practice knowledge was a panelist.

During the years that I have known Mr. Friedman, I have always known him to be a civil rights bar leader, who deeply cares about imparting and sharing his representational craftsmanship to other members of the profession.
