Joe and I started together as federal prosecutors at the U.S. Attorney's Office. Since going into private practice, we've stayed friends and kept in touch. A few years ago, I began serving as of counsel to his law firm as part of its white-collar practice.

Yes

I can't think of anyone more qualified to defend civil or criminal tax cases in any forum in California, state or federal. Joe has worked at a Big Four accounting firm (Deloitte), and he's been a trial attorney for the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Franchise Tax Board. He's done it all, and now he's built a successful private practice.
