Lack of communications, not caring We paid the initial 2 hour retainer, and went to Jerry's office with a 45 minutes consulation last Thursday. Jerry said he would look into it and draft a demand letter in the middle of this week, for he's having piles of cases to file. Jerry couldn't find the company's info during the consulatation, I searched for him and emailed him right after, but never got the response. And today Monday of the following week, we called Jerry three times with no response. We felt there's clearly lack of communications from him. We don't feel he was fighting for us, so we emailed him after calling that we don't want his representation any more. 10 minutes later, he emailed back with a bare minimum demand letter, claiming he's spent 2 hour on the research and draft the demand letter.
