worst want to be a lawyer ever Jason Taylor, where can I start off with this “Lawyer”. Please read and DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with this unethical so-called lawyer. CORRUPTION AT ITS BEST. Long story short; the opposing counsel does all the talking and JASON TAYLOR well just agrees to all of it. I gave him plenty of evidence which he did not use, he even suggested I hire an investigator to help with my case, which we never used. Just a complete waste of my money. This INCOMPETENT lawyer just sat back and did what he does best, NOTHING! Never once tried to speak on my behalf, or let me speak, he literally sat back as I watched while I LOST MY HOUSE, MY MONEY, MY JOB! Did not even attempt to allow me to retain my personal belongings, LOST full custody of my DAUGHTER. How can you describe this INCOMPETENT lawyer. He gets intimidated by any other lawyer-not to mention the Judges, he delays courts by NOT turning in paperwork on time, I believe it’s part of his plan, so that within time people get tired and stop trying. I caught this “Lawyer” in so many lies and when I confronted him about it, his best solution was to quit, take my money and leave me hanging, with nothing being resolved. • 1st lie: He takes advantage that you’re struggling and confuses people into signing a completely different agreement than what was discussed. • 2nd lie: he told me, he called the child services when I had just spoken to them and said otherwise, he never called! • 3rd lie: when I asked if it was possible to switch judges, due the fact that this judge is prejudiced. He said that it was impossible. • 4th lie: when it was time to divide assets, his incompetence and unexperienced advised me that no judge in the State of California would give me half of the assets or let me see my daughter, because of pending charges. • 5th lie: every time I ask if the charges have been filed, he said that the DA has refused the case 3 times. Always late with paperwork and court days. After almost 3 years still waiting for a resolution…never answer emails or return calls, very poor customer service. My biggest mistake was not looking at his online reviews. Please be careful if considering hiring this poor incompetent individual. View More

Don't recommend Jason. Don't waste your time/money If I were to describe Jason Taylor in one sentence it would be the following: Jason is a waste of time and money. I had my first court date with Jason on June 27, 2019. The opposing lawyer asked for more information, so a continuance was issued, meaning that I had to come back another day. A new date was set for September 24. I tried reaching out to Jason’s office several times asking about the required documentation, but they didn’t get back to me until the week before my court date. Ultimately, the papers were filed too late to allow enough time for all parties to review and there was three months in between! I’m not sure if Jason ever reviewed the information that I submit because he seemed very unfamiliar with my case and did not ask many questions or argue on my behalf. When I was having my child support calculated, I asked Jason a question about travel expenses and he replied, “What do you think?!” Another lawyer came in to the room and noticed that Jason wasn’t doing anything. The other lawyer came out and told me that he tried advising Jason on what to do. Every time I was around to see the opposing lawyer arguing with Jason, he seemed intimidated by her. At the end of the day, I tried speaking to the Judge myself because I was tired of Jason’s failure to act and I told Jason that I would no longer be using his “services.” I will acknowledge that Jason is probably capable of handling cases that are straightforward and that don’t require much more than submitting legal forms. Anyone that has the time to use a self-help resource center should avoid going to Jason for help even with paperwork. I filled out all the forms required to file for a custody modification myself and he/his staff provided little to no help. In one instance his office did email me, requesting that I send over an income and expense declaration, but they did not even include the blank form; I had to go find it and fill it out myself. Please do not make the same mistake I did by hiring Jason. View More

Jason D. Taylor's Response: This former client was a classic example of what happens when my clients don’t take my advice. When clients take my advice, things usually go well for them. When clients don’t follow my advice, things generally go bad for them, and then they blame me. SMH
