So let me start off saying I was recommended this lawyer through my parents friends. Long story short, I was in a car accident with a motorcyclist. A year later after the accident I was arrested for criminally negligant homicide. After going to court month after month, one random month he said "Today is the day." Like I did not expect that day to be my sentencing. So not only that, as I cried and weeped in front of an entire court room including his own family members. I did not have one single person from my family even there to support me because we didn't know that this was the day for sentencing. I expected it to be another continuous but I was wrong. I was so over the whole ordeal that I signed that he said the best he could do for me was get probation but I had to sign guilty which would strip all of my rights away from. Let me remind you this is my first felony EVER to be charged with. So I eventually had to get another lawyer and so I did. The new lawyer I got looked into my case, and said what the hell!?
