Denise was at the public defenders office when I had a local business downtown. I was able to observe her professionalism in public setting with a group of other attorneys several of whom have become judges in the county. She was part of the defense team on a homicide I handled in Modesto. I also personally observed her at times do the leg work necessary to provide the defense for her clients.

If I have questions regarding how a particular law is interpreted by the bench, or a strategy I am unsure of, I can always talk to her and not only get good advice, but case or statutory law that helps me be a better attorney.

We have discussed various cases over the years. When I was in law school she was already practicing as an attorney, yet remembered many of the cases from law school, and had brilliant analysis of the subject. In current practice she is a fount of knowledge on cases and is always willing to help.

Denise has an amazing personality and her clients trust her judgement. She able to not only communicate what is going to happen, but explains to her clients why based not only on the procedure of law, but how the system works in general.
