Breach of contract I hired Mr. Hunt in March of 2020, as he had taken over the law firm of the previous lawyer, who was wonderful. Mr. Hunt sought a retainer of $5,000, which I paid, for his assistance with my Mom's estate distribution, then past the year mark. I am deaf and was being treated quite badly by trustee, my brother and his wife, and the new successor trustee, herself a probate lawyer, had formed a posse to keep me out, criminalize me. I needed Mr. Hunt's help to navigate the hearing world and the accruing problems. 19 days after I signed the agreement, he changed the terms, raised the retainer to $10,000, sent my case to a subordinate, who just passed the bar exam, and changed the fee agreement to a higher rate. Claiming I would save money by his use of other staff. Needless to say, just as other reviewers have stated, my case was ignored, and relegated to a law student while Mr. Hunt took over 3, three week vacations to Ha, with entire staff. leaving law student to run the whole office. It turns out the 4th Amendment to my Mom's Trust, was forged. Something he should have caught as they evidence was already present. He abandoned me, and even told me I was nickle and diming the estate, I had no assets from the estate yet, and he did not arrange for me to be present at a hearing where I was the fodder of damnation, as the trustees had now been paying 3 expensive attorney's to represent them, against me, a beneficiary, claiming I might sue? The Trust was Revocable, and so could not be contested. Another legal point Mr. Hunt missed, as he was not supervising the law student, he allowed to make all negotiations with $400 an hour probate attorney's. He did not use due diligence, protect my interests or even demand discovery of bank records. I am now preparing to file a civil suit against him for damages from his breach of contract, fee agreement and professional conduct duties owed to his client. View More

I do not recommend this firm. I hired Daniel Hunt to represent me as a plaintiff in an elder abuse, estate matter. I was a long-term, well-paying client. Hiring them was a costly mistake in precious time and money. It started off fine after paying the retainer, but after investing tens of thousands of dollars in fees and several months after starting this firm stopped caring about my case. They started to neglect my case by letting it languish on their furthermore back burner. They found themselves unable to know the law or courts, and Daniel Hunt was woefully useless. Daniel Hunt knew basically nothing to provide guidance or understanding. It became abundantly clear he didn’t care about my case; didn’t care about the expensive missteps of his unsupervised subordinate attorneys; didn’t care about their dishonesty, didn’t care that they weren’t prepared for important events they he assigned inexperienced attorneys to so he wouldn’t have to do the work; didn’t care to understand my case in any way. He repeatedly confused my case for other cases. He was dismissive of my concerns, and to this day takes no responsibility for his horrible business practices. After 18 months, and $40,000 invested here, I found no choice but to endure the work and expense to find new representation. I do not recommend this firm to anyone for any reason. If Daniel Hunt and his associates could let me down this badly, I believe they’d do it to anyone. And my experience is that Daniel Hunt is totally indifferent to how he and his firm handle that which they are entrusted and paid handsomely to be good stewards of. View More
