Their legal assistant reviewed the filings to determine if there was any chance of undoing a final order. Rather than engaging and begin billing, Cheryl provided an assessment and advised on what to file to get the claim reviewed. I sent a "thank you" email and requested she bill me for what I am sure was at least a few hours work. The firm refused to bill me.
