Bernie has shown me over at least two decades his proficiency in the law. First as a former police officer I have had the distinct pleasure of seeing Bernie prosecute cases for me when he was a young DA. Then, when i became a defense attorney myself, i had the opportunity to see him as an adversary. (while he was a DA and I was a young defense lawyer). Bernie and I have known each other for many years. He was a former district attorney when i was a police officer, and when i was a young attorney. So we worked together on cases as a police officer/DA... and opposed each other as DA/Defense lawyer. And have represented co-defendants on the same case as well.

Bernie is incredibly talented. He has a vast knowledge of the law, and an even greater temperament. He is very measured and calculated. He turns on the charm in front of the judge and jury, and quickly wins them over.
