Completely incompetent Lawyer Mr. Barbosa was hired to draft a JV deal & to give us a first lien. We were supposed to be able to foreclose or take over the property if the client whom we funded $60k cash for remodel of the property. The client failed to complete the project & Barbosa's legal documents did not result in a simple foreclosure or transfer of the property. Instead we have to go through judicial foreclosure even though I expressed wanting to do non-judicial foreclosure. Stay far far away from this guy. He wont follow up after his docs turn out to be flimsy & barely adequate to prove our intent he will go silent & is not someone that can get you to the finish line. Run away! View More
