David grew up in Georgia, where he excelled in academics and football. Having graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Doctorate of Law from St. Mary's University Law School, businessmen and women, attorneys, even judges have relied on Mr. Davis' expertise with language and law. I grew up the eldest son (of four sons) of the local legal services managing attorney in northwest Alabama. I pretty much always wanted to be a lawyer. After Vanderbilt for law school, I took a detour clerking for a federal circuit judge and working for a corporate law firm, both in Dallas, before returning to Alabama and eventually finding my true calling as a civil rights lawyer.
