Cynthia Williams has been practicing law in Tarrant County since 2000. She opened her private practice in Bedford, Texas in 2003. She worked as a Big-8 Tax CPA for approximately 10 years before becoming an attorney. She has been a Board Certified Tax Attorney since 2005.

Cynthia grew up in Pakistan, Kuwait, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Jordan, traveling frequently as a result of her father's career in construction management. She attended The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and earned a bachelor's degree in International Relations and a minor in Arabic and graduated summa cum laude.

She also was the Executive Articles Editor of the Utah Law Review, a Quinney Research Fellow, and a William H. Leary Scholar.
