Todd received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law Chicago in 2005. For more than 10 years following law school, he served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois Toll Highway Authority. In this trusted position, Todd litigated eminent domain cases on behalf of IDOT and the ISTHA. In addition, during this time Todd also served as a defense attorney in personal injury lawsuits. Cyndi is one half of the husband and wife partnership that founded and runs Crocker Law Firm. She has spent most of her career (more than 20 years) representing injury victims.

Cyndi graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1992, where she was an editor of the Kentucky Law Journal. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky in 1988. Cyndi was the President of the University of Kentucky Student Government in 1987 and served as the student member of the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees.
