As an attorney, David Baker focuses his practice on estate planning matters and helping those injured through the fault of others.

Prior to becoming an attorney, David worked for Verizon as a lineman in Brooklyn, NY for fifteen years: 1995 to 2010. While continuing to work full-time as a lineman, David attended Brooklyn Law School. Upon graduation in 2010, David relocated to Peoria, IL working at a small firm for four years. In 2014, David, his wife, Mary "Molly" Baker, a physician at Pawleys Island Pediatrics and Adult Medicine, and their son, Dominic, relocated to Pawleys Island.

Joshua is a native of Missouri, having obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Missouri State University, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Prior to entering private practice, Joshua clerked for a Federal judge for the Western District in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Baker is an experienced and aggressive trial attorney. Joshua has obtained successful trial verdicts for his clients both at the trial level, and at the appellate level before the Southern District Court of Appeals. Joshua and his family currently reside in Ozark, Missouri, where he is an active member of the community.

Joshua joined the Young Law Group in March 2024 as an associate. He specializes in whistleblower and retaliation cases under federal and state False Claims Act (FCA) statutes, as well as the SEC and CFTC Whistleblower Programs, the IRS Whistleblower Program, and similar programs. As a litigator, Joshua is dedicated to assisting individuals harmed by powerful institutions and those who uncover and report misuse of taxpayer funds. He considers it a privilege to work towards correcting these injustices. 

Clients want lawyers who know what they're doing, who can explain what and why they're doing it and how it benefits the client, and who can do it all for a reasonable fee with a strong likelihood of a favorable outcome. This is especially true of intellectual property attorneys whose clients understand that their most valuable assets, their copyrights, trademarks, and patents, are largely intangible and oftentimes hard to quantify. I graduated from Massachusetts School of Law in 1996. Since graduation, I have practiced Bankruptcy almost exclusively. Within the context of Bankruptcy, I also deal with predatory lending, mortgage modifications and similar issues. On November 6, 2006, I became the first bankruptcy lawyer in Massachusetts in the last twenty years to argue a case before the US Supreme Court.
