Elizete earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Florida State University and later
earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law. As a law student, Elizete used her strong leadership ability to excel in academics and in the legal sector. Her accomplishments in academia were recognized early on, and in 2010, the Florida Bar Foundation selected her as a recipient of the Summer Legal Aid Fellowship, allowing her to work with Gulfcoast Legal Services in St. Petersburg on behalf of indigent individuals.
