Ed Williams earned his Juris Doctorate with honors, Cum Laude, in 2016 from Mississippi College School of Law. Ed completed his undergraduate work at Mississippi State University where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science.

While in law school, Ed was a member of the MC Law Moot Court Board, Law Student Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta Honors Program, American Association for Justice, and the Mississippi Association for Justice. Edward is a former Chief of General Prosecutions for IDFPR as well as the Chief of Real Estate Prosecutions. Since 1992, our firm has represented hundreds of doctors, dentists, nurses and other health-care workers. Mr. Williams' experience includes both trial and transactional work. Mr. Williams has appeared in Federal and State courts, representing individuals and businesses in various matters, including claims involving Employment Discrimination, Bankruptcy Adversarial Proceedings, Breach of Contract, Real Estate Disputes, Real Estate Partition, Real Estate Litigation, Shareholder Disputes, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP). On the transactional side of his practice, Mr. Williams focuses on Private Placement Memorandum (PPM), Choice of Entities issues, Partnership Dissolution, Post-and-pre-nuptial Agreements, and Trusts and Estate Planning.

Admitted to practice law in Virginia in 1998, Mel brings a wealth of litigation experience to clients that includes practice as a prosecutor and working for insurance companies defending lawsuits, to include defending government officials charged with misconduct and violations of civil rights. Now he represents persons and small businesses in litigation arising out of serious personal injury, employment disputes, and employment and administrative/governmental grievances, such as professional discipline.
