Chris was born in Hawaii to a military family but was raised in Spartanburg, SC. He attended Spartanburg High School before double majoring in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of South Carolina and graduated from USC School of Law in 2015. While in law school, Chris spent his summers working as a law clerk conducting legal research to advocate for policy change for low-income South Carolinians.
