Hi! I'm Margaret Barrett.

I founded Safe Harbor Estate Law to help empower families to protect what is most important to them. I am motivated by life experiences that help me relate to my clients. My ex-husband died suddenly, leaving our young children and a messy estate that took 7 years to resolve. My siblings and I worked together to support my parents in my Dad's dementia. My new husband and I crafted a plan to protect each other and all of our children in our blended family when we pass away.

John has practiced law in Boulder Colorado since 1975. John has represented individuals and small businesses in a variety of matters, including divorce, family law, civil litigation and real estate. He has been the co-chair of the Boulder County Family Law Committee and served as associate judge of the Louisville Municipal Court.

Cade Browning's practice is devoted to litigation. He is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in personal injury trial law and is licensed in both Texas and Oklahoma. Cade was born in Lucas, Texas where he grew up raising, training, selling and showing cutting horses. He continues that tradition today at his ranch in Coronado's Camp where he lives with his wife, Katie, and their two boys, Barrett and Bede. John Lentz chose the legal profession later in life because he wanted a challenging and rewarding career where he could help people in unfortunate situations and help people plan in order to avoid those same circumstances in the future. John graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law, receiving a Juris Doctorate with Distinction in 2010. He also holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy. Jeff Hagen joined The Advocates personal injury law firm after practicing law, first in Colorado, and then in Utah, following his graduation from the New York University School of Law in 1991. He spent his first few years after graduating from law school in general litigation. Except for a three-year stint as in-house corporate counsel for a bank in Ogden, Utah, Jeff practiced primarily in the field of bankruptcy law and consumer rights from 1994 until 2019.
