Joe moved to Colorado from Texas in 1969. He is the oldest of 10 siblings. He graduated from Mullen High School, where he was active in Speech and Debate. Mr. Byron served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps from 1986 to 1990 as a prosecutor.
