About this Organization:
Legal Services for Children ("LSC") was established in 1999 with the mission of providing free legal assistance to the chronically underserved population of disadvantaged children in New York City. In addition to providing civil legal representation and related social services, primarily in the areas of special education and Social Security Disability benefits, LSC also provides training and education programs to families of poor and disabled children in low-income communities.
