Five stars all the way!!! Bill Barnwell is an extremely knowledgeable, insightful, and truly gifted defense attorney with an unwavering commitment to his clients. When I first read his reviews online, I thought it was too good to be true- I can whole heartedly attest that it is not! Bill is the real deal and so are his reviews! From my very first interaction with him, he demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a deep understanding of criminal law. I was also impressed with his straightforward approach regarding his fees- no hidden costs- just honest, affordable service from a top tier attorney. This man is worth his weight in gold but remains humble and charges a modest fee for the service he provides. Bill kept the lines of communication open and always responded to me in a timely manner. His attentiveness and genuinely compassionate demeanor made me feel supported throughout this entire ordeal. He took the time to explain every step of the process and provided invaluable guidance that helped me take proactive steps before my court date- steps that truly made a huge difference in how the judge viewed my case. I was less than $3 away from being charged with 1st degree retail fraud, which is a felony. Bill went above and beyond for me. He fought hard on my behalf and was able to get my charges reduced down to a 3rd degree misdemeanor offense. This reduction not only lessened the impact on my criminal record, but also resulted in a significantly lower fine, and a lighter probation sentence. Look no further!!! This is the guy you want!!! If you’ve ever watched Suits you’ll understand when I say William Barnwell is basically a combination of all of the positive traits in Harvey Spector and Mike Ross. On the same day that a warrant was issued for my arrest, he worked expeditiously to arrange a walk-in arraignment for the following day. His diligence, proactive approach, and exceptional negotiation skills, resulted in my charge being dropped from a 5 year felony down to a 1 year misdemeanor. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome! I entered one of the most terrifying and depressing periods of my life as a result of some extremely poor decisions. That being said, the best choice I could have made was to entrust my life in the hands of William Barnwell. From my first phone call to his office, which he personally answered, until the conclusion of my case, my experience was nothing short of phenomenal. He is non-judgmental, an extremely attentive listener, and laid out each stage of my case in a straightforward, understandable manner, keeping me in the loop every step of the way. He was always accessible to answer my many questions and address my concerns, and he did so with great patience and grace.
