$6000 per Hour Attorney and Lost the Case Please take a moment to read reviews from other clients about this attorney, rather than relying on recommendations from friends. He claims to be a malpractice attorney, and I entrusted him with a malpractice case. Initially, he informed me that my previous lawyer wasn't entitled to any compensation, so I should not pay them. He charged me $1,000 for a case study, only to later request an additional $7,000 for a jury trial. On top of that, he mentioned I would need to spend another $5,000 for an expert witness. Then, the attorney disappeared. Eventually, I discovered that the court date was set for April 27th at 9:00 AM. I went to his office or home but he did not open the door until 9:35 AM, a full 35 minutes after the court proceedings had already begun. At that point, he informed me that we had lost the case and claimed I owed $32,000. This was yet another instance of him providing false information, and I ended up losing $50,980. Unable to appeal due to him waiving all my rights, he offered to return only $1,500 of my money. I could settle the case for$23000 now I have to pay other attorney $5098.00 because this attorney. I am now planning to pursue legal action against him. View More

Please, Please be carful Please read other complains against him on other sits. I engaged the services of Mr. Ney to handle a malpractice case and address the issue of overcharging in attorney's fees. Initially, I paid him a non-refundable amount of $1000 for a case study. However, upon reviewing the study, Mr. Ney informed me that I had a viable case but would need to pay an additional flat fee of $7000 to proceed. He assured me that he would handle the jury trial and expert witness, ensuring that the opposing party would not receive any monetary compensation. Alternatively, I had the option to settle the case for $18000.00. He discouraged me. In an attempt to obtain information about the court dates, I sent Mr. Ney eight emails, but unfortunately, I did not receive any response. Frustrated, I decided to visit his office in person, only to be informed that he was not available. Determined to find out the court date, I contacted the court directly and was informed that it had been scheduled for April 27th at 9:00 a.m. On the court day, I arrived at Mr. Ney's office, but to my dismay, he blocked my access to the Zoom meeting. I was left with no choice but to wait in the conference room. Subsequently, the court transcript revealed that Mr. Ney had waived any defense. As a result of these circumstances, I suffered a financial loss of $50,085.00. The $27000.00 claim which I could settle with less changed to $50,098.00. He has ruined my life. In light of Mr. Ney's negligence, I am taking legal action against him. I have lodged a complaint with the State Bar to address this matter appropriately. I write this review to prevent others from not lose sleep nights after nights like me. View More
