Walter Charles Bansley IV
Walt IV is a former Marine Corps Captain having deployed around the world to many Middle Eastern countries, East Timor, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Australia. Prior to his Marine Corps service, Walt earned his bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Boston University in 1997. Following his Marine Corps service, Walt attended Quinnipiac University's School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and in the top 15% of his class. Walt has tried numerous cases to verdict, from drugs and robbery to murder. Walt teaches at the university level the subjects of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Mock Trial. Walt is a board certified criminal lawyer. The National Board of Legal Specialty Certification (NBLSC) is an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited organization providing Board Certification for lawyers. Board Certification is a rigorous testing and approval process that officially recognizes the extensive education and courtroom experience of attorneys (www.NBLSC.us). Walt was also selected as a 2011/2012 New England Super Lawyer rising star. The Super Lawyers selection process is a “comprehensive, good-faith and detailed attempt to produce a list of lawyers that have attained high peer recognition, meet ethical standards, and have demonstrated some degree of achievement in their field” (www.superlawyers.com).
