Vasanth has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications, and conducting patent infringement, validity and freedom to operate analyses for a wide range of technologies including software, electronics, computer networking, wireless telecommunications, surgical devices, medical imaging, high-resolution microscopy, bioinformatics, geophysical and ocean exploration and consumer goods. He also has experience in conducting due diligence analysis in association with private equity transactions. Vasanth's graduate work at MIT focused on research topics in the area of automotive electrical systems including automotive battery modeling, and polymeric insulation degradation and accelerated life testing of automotive electrical systems. At the University of Arkansas, he worked on problems of subsurface sensing of buried objects and new techniques in computational electromagnetics. Vasanth has also worked at Schlumberger's research and product centers developing signal processing algorithms for use in geophysical prospecting.
