Tristan F. Rivera

Tristan F. Rivera joined Henness & Haight in September 2015. His practice involves all aspects of personal injury, including car collisions, premise liability cases, workers’ compensation benefits and products liability.

Tristan received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. After graduating with distinction, Tristan attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 2011. While attending law school, Tristan was an Editor for the Nevada Gaming Journal and served as a judicial extern to Nevada Supreme Court Justice Michael L. Douglas.

After graduating from law school and being admitted to the Nevada bar, Tristan’s practice initially consisted of general civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance defense litigation. Tristan quickly realized, however, that he was on the wrong side; he instead wanted to represent injured victims. Having worked in insurance defense has given Tristan knowledge of its policies, practices and decisions, giving him the upper hand when dealing with insurance companies and its adjusters.

In his spare time, Tristan enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball and watching sports.
