Traci Lewis Carrillo
Ms. Carrillo's practice includes Family Law and Criminal Defense. She successfully uses her background as a prosecutor and trial attorney to achieve excellent results on behalf of her clients. Ms. Carrillo's Criminal Defense practice includes every subject matter from driving under the influence to murder. Her Family Law practice includes divorce, custody, support and domestic violence related issues.
Ms. Carrillo has handled to conclusion 75 trials and hundreds of court hearings.
From 2000 to 2007, Ms. Carrillo was a Deputy District Attorney in Riverside County, where she handled a variety of cases, including driving under the influence, domestic violence, child abuse, gang crimes and capital murder. In addition, as a team leader for the domestic violence team and member of the homicide team, she handled complex high profile cases.
From 2008 to 2015, Ms. Carrillo was a Deputy District Attorney with the Sonoma County District Attorney's Office. She handled felony cases involving domestic violence, gangs and murder. As a senior trial prosecutor, she tried complex and high profile cases, including a four co-defendant gang murder case which required "dual juries". All four defendants were convicted and currently serving sentences of life without the possibility of parole.
In 2015 Ms. Carrillo opened her own law office, where she primarily focused on criminal defense and family law matters, before joining Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz LLP in 2017.
Ms. Carrillo's success as a trial attorney has been recognized many times. She received the "Larry J. Scoufos Trial Advocacy Award" for her work at the Sonoma County District Attorney's office, and "Felony Prosecutor of the Year" for her work with the Riverside County District Attorney's office, among other awards .
Ms. Carrillo is co-host of "Justice Gone Wild" on KSRO. She has served on the Board and volunteered for Distinguished Young Women.
