I rated Tom a 10 because I know most of the bankruptcy attorneys in my area and I know that he is among the best. I also rated him a 10 because I truly would recommend him to my family and friends because I know that he doesn't cut corners and doesn't let his clients down. Since I first started taking bankruptcy cases several years ago Tom has been my mentor and go-to person for answers to bankruptcy questions.

Tom and I have referred various foreclosure defense and bankruptcy clients to each other and helped each other with various clients who have had multi-year home retention struggles. I am an expert in foreclosure defense and he is an expert in chapter 13 bankruptcy so in the past we have pooled our knowledge and strategies to help clients retain their homes.

Tom and I have called each other multiple times per week for the last several years to bounce ideas and issues off of each other and develop strategies for our clients.

Tom goes above and beyond for his clients in terms of taking on their issues and problems and seeking the very best outcome.

Legal Knowledge: Excellent

Tom has years of bankruptcy experience and hundreds (probably thousands) of cases under his belt. He researches and stays on top of case law especially in areas related to bankruptcy and ethics. I often seek his advice on potential ethical issues with billing, conflicts of interest, etc.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

Tom does not attempt to just stick to the easiest cases and issues. He digs in and researches and files additional motions and arguments whenever it is in the best interest of the client. He is not afraid of complex chapter 13 cases.

Communication Skills: Excellent

Tom is very personable and his clients like and trust him and feel like he is on their level. He is also able to explain complex information in a way that lay people can understand.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

Tom is highly attuned to ethical issues and has steered me clear of a few potential ethical pitfalls. I sometimes view him as my conscience :).
