Initial fact gathering is at no charge. That is when the client talks. Questions designed to clarify the facts are not billed. There will be no fee charged, until we discuss a hiring arrangement and define the scope of work. If it is a matter of reviewing a contract and interpreting the contract and will not be an ongoing matter, I will charge an appropriate fee for an office consultation. In an office conference I will only charge for work requiring legal analysis.
