Theodore Lothstein
Theodore Lothstein's Response: Rules of Professional Conduct do not allow lawyers to respond to the merits of a review. But what I will say is that any lawyer will tell you - court appointed work is often a thankless job. It's human nature to think that if you get something for free, it must be worthless. But I place the highest value on doing court appointed work because for the criminal justice system to work at all, every accused must have access to skilled and experienced counsel. I am proud of the court appointed work that I do and will never waver in my responsibility to fight hard in those cases -- while also striving to improve the access to justice for all. - Ted
