Sydney represents clients in Arkansas and Tennessee in the areas of Sports and Entertainment law, Intellectual Property, Business Law, Trademarks, and Estate Planning.
Sydney attended law school at the University of Arkansas, where she graduated cum laude with her J.D. in 2023. While in school, Sydney worked for two years in school in the Arkansas Razorback Athletic Department under the Associate General Counsel for Athletics where she gained experience working with contract review and negotiation; compliance and Title 9 issues; intellectual property; Freedom of Information Act requests; and Name, Image, and Likeness policies and procedures. Sydney wrote and amended various coaching contracts, as well as contributing to a significant project that involved reviewing and updating the University's athletic facilities policies and procedures. Sydney also built the Sports and Entertainment Law Society at Arkansas Law from the ground up and gave it a real presence within the law school and served as the Arkansas Representative for the National Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
Prior to law school, Sydney graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy, as well as a minor in Anthropology. While at Richmond, Sydney was a Diver on the Varsity Swim and Dive team, and was actively involved in mentoring programs, research, and various programs for student athletes, including those promoting mental health resources for athletes.
These experiences enabled Sydney to develop core competencies in law, teamwork, and research, as well as expertise in sports law and the sports industry.
