Attorney Suzan Boden is a graduate of Iowa State University (B.S. 1977), Mercy Hospital School of Medical Technology (1977), and the University of South Dakota (J.D. 1987). She is admitted to practice law in the United States Appellate Court (8th Circuit) and United States Federal Court, as well as Iowa and South Dakota state courts. Suzan handles primarily workers’ compensation and personal injury cases, such as work-related deaths, on-the-job injuries, lost wages, medical and disability benefits, repetitive stress injuries (e.g. carpal tunnel syndrome), occupational illness/disease, bodily injuries, car accidents, construction accidents, and slip and fall accidents. She also handles adoption, juvenile, guardianship/conservatorship, social security disability, title opinions, real estate property contract disputes, quiet-title matters, and civil litigation. Suzan became a lawyer after working for several years as a medical technologist (clinical laboratory scientist). Suzan has served on the Iowa Association for Justice Workers’ Compensation Core Group for over a decade. Suzan is a longtime Sioux City resident. She loves being surrounded by nature while cycling, gardening, and traveling. Suzan also enjoys reading, CrossFit, and spending time with her family.
