This attorney is being reported to the bar and there is arbitration being scheduled This attorney failed to understand procedure and has repeatedly overcharged me for hearings in which he came unprepared and without understanding the procedural issues that would allow the court to address my problems that were a result of his initial incompetence in not fully addressing all of the issues in my case. The last hearing I had with him before terminating his services was so pathetic that the judge and the DA laughed openly at his lack of understanding of the procedural issues. On top of that he tried to charge me three times for hearings in which he was unprepared. He also failed to adequately disclose all of the legal issues that I was agreeing to, namely a baseless restraining order. I wasted over $9,000 in the last three hearings on two issues. One was not addressed at all and a second has created additional expenses due to the issue not being handled earlier. This gentleman was arrogant, dismissed me as beneath him because of the issues I am dealing with and told me that he choose not to adequately prepare for a trial because he believed I would make a bad witness. He made that assessment without ever seeing me on the stand and at the exclusion of the consideration of my 5th amendment rights. He lied about his billing practices and has overcharged me for his services to date. I will be applying to the Bar Association for Mandi Tory arbitration of his fees and to report his horrendous behavior and negligence of my interest. He came highly recommended but to many it is clear that age and his arrogance have made him not the attorney he once was.
