- A: As far as the sexual conduct, the age of consent in NC is 16. You could obviously get the police involved if you can substantiate that she has been providing alcohol to your son. The marijuana is still illegal at any age, and you could also get the authorities involved for that possible crime. Consider other alternatives though; your son will most likely find himself charged too if you go this route.

- A: Asking that someone accused of shoplifting not be allowed into a private business really has no connection to the criminal charge. The owner or manager could in essence trespass that person years after the criminal case is resolved.

- A: Your first step should be to contact an attorney in the county where the charge originated. Different counties handle this scenario in different ways. For example, Wake County would force you to plead guilty before you could start the process of getting back your license. Other counties may dismiss it based on how the limitations statute was written back then. Either way, you need an experienced DWI attorney FROM THAT COUNTY...
