A Focused Practice:
I focus my practice on handling primarily misdemeanor criminal charges, so I am highly knowledgeable and experienced in the area of law you need. By not taking on highly complex and time-consuming felony cases, you can be assured your case will always be a top priority.
Communication is a priority:
I provide much of my services using technology: A secure online client portal to communicate and provide access to your files 24/7 (similar to online banking, but for legal services). I encourage texting for quick updates and questions. I use the latest legal software to increase efficiency to make sure time spent on a case is maximized to focus on you and your case.
Cost-Effective & Client Focused:
I seek early and affordable resolutions when appropriate, such as suppressing evidence or seeking a plea-agreement, but I am always prepared to go to trial.
A Simple Office:
I maintain a simple office with just one paralegal / office administrator. I hire contract researchers, investigators and experts as needed. Because I don’t maintain an expensive law office, I can afford to pass those savings on to you.

- Rates, Retainers and Additional Information
I handle most misdemeanor criminal charges with fixed prices. That means you will be quoted the cost of representation up-front for your matter. You will never have to worry about hourly charges where you don’t know what the end cost will be until you get the bill. Pretrial Representation: I charge a base price for pre-trial representation that includes: Entering an appearance in the case, filing motions for discovery, examining discovery, initial investigations of the case, legal research to determine possible defenses, plea bargaining with the State, meeting with the client as needed to discuss their case and answer questions, and representation at the scheduling conference hearing. If a resolution is reached no additional payment is necessary. Trial Representation: Representation past the Pretrial Conference hearing if continuing to trial, including preparation for trial and representation at trial.
