Legal Knowledge: Excellent

Shadi is a treasure trove of trust trivia. She is always abreast of the status of probate courts and the length of time it takes to administer estates, and able to help clients with any type of trust.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

Unlike some attorneys, Shadi does not delegate the critical task of getting to know her clients. Shadi personally spends the time necessary with clients to determine what type of trust and other tools are needed to accomplish their goals.

Communication Skills: Excellent

Shadi is a very effective communicator, at once authoritative and warm. Many times I have listened to Shadi articulate a nuanced aspect of trust law to non-lawyers with both accuracy and charm, without a trace of pretension or condescension. Shadi can communicate as effectively with a CEO as with great-grandma.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

It is rare that I find an attorney with such high ethical standards as Shadi. Like most of us, she has endured brash and rude opposing counsel. While she never backs down, she also never loses her composure.

We were in the same office space several years ago and we are now part of a group of attorneys that collaborate together and support each other in our practices.

We have referred many of our Family Law clients to Shadi and she has prepared the Estate plans after the divorce. We have also collaborated on matters where clients who need a prenuptial agreement also need an estate plan. She has advised me in litigation matters.
