Mr. Clayton began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney, which afforded countless opportunities to face off against excellent defense attorneys. In doing so, he learned countless defenses from the best. Now, he combines his extensive knowledge of defense strategies with his experience as a prosecutor to attack the State's case and get his clients results.
Mr. Clayton attended the Florida State University College of Law after graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Criminal Justice degree from Florida Atlantic University. With the goal of practicing Criminal Law, Mr. Clayton focused his law school electives on Criminal Law courses, culminating in an externship with the Gadsden County State Attorney’s Office. Mr. Clayton has been a Criminal Law Litigator since and offers his clients over 14 years of Criminal Law litigation experience.
With over a decade in private practice, Mr. Clayton has used his litigation experience to continue to serve the people of Florida, protecting their rights in both the Criminal Law and Personal Injury Law arenas.
