Skaar Ulbrich Macari, P.A.
I am a patent attorney assisting clients with intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing and litigation.
I manage intellectual property portfolios for individuals, startup companies and larger established companies.
In addition, I represent clients in lawsuits involving intellectual property isues. Having tried a number of patent cases to juries in federal court, I have the experience necessary to effectively protect and enforce intellectual property rights for my clients.
My education and professional experience as an engineer provide me with an edge in understanding complex technologies. I know what is necessary to strategically and effectively present complex technologies to the patent office or to a jury.
I have experience representing clients in a wide variety of matters involving mechanical, electrical, software, biological and manufacturing technologies. Examples include cardiac medical devices, biotech cancer therapy, aerospace instrumentation, video image stabilization systems, satellite antenna systems, telephone call-center-testing methodology, road maintenance equipment, luggage carts, concrete wall blocks and athletic equipment.
