Scott Bernstein
KaiserDillon PLLC
Scott Bernstein represents clients in campus disciplinary matters, white-collar criminal cases, and in complex civil litigation. An experienced litigator, Scott’s ability to distill complicated factual and legal issues into clear and compelling arguments has helped his clients on campuses and in courts across the country.
In his campus disciplinary practice, Scott has defended college and graduate students facing suspension or expulsion in student misconduct proceedings. He has also represented the victims in student disciplinary cases. His deep knowledge of federal and state law related to campus judicial systems and procedures ensures that his clients’ rights are protected at every step of the process—and, if necessary, in court. Scott’s white-collar criminal defense experience has included advising individuals and entities in criminal investigations and prosecutions in both federal and state court; and he has represented numerous clients in high-stakes business disputes.
Scott is a graduate of Duke University School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. He is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, New York State, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
