I serve as Of Counsel in the Taxation, Trusts & Estates department at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP, where I focus on devising creative and practical solutions to complex tax issues.
In my practice, I regularly advise both individuals and business entities on a broad array of tax-related matters. These include M&A transactions, financing, internal corporate restructurings, Section 1031 exchanges, and deferred compensation. Additionally, I design and implement strategies for tax-efficient estate planning, wealth transfer, and business succession that cater to the needs of individuals, families, and executives across the wealth spectrum.
Originally from Iowa, I now enjoy the California lifestyle, which includes surfing, playing tennis, and dressing up my dog in elaborate outfits.
I earned my law degree from Loyola Law School and subsequently obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Taxation from New York University.
