I know her very well. Excellent lawyer! I worked with her when she ran the Trial Division of our firm, and then later when she was a partner covering all of Northern Virginia courts, state and federal. She was amazing!

She and I worked at the same law firm where we shared clients and she worked cases on her own. I interacted with her almost every day and saw her extensive trial prepaaration and client contact. We worked everything from Reckless Driving, DUIs and murder cases together.

For many years up until 1995 when I started my own firm in central Virginia.

Yes

She did extensive trial preparation, witenss interviews, legal research, created exhibits and was very effective in oral arguments in court. I watched her win numerous criminal cases, and got a miracle dispostion in a murder case using her powers of pursuasion in keeping the client out of penitentiary sentence. She has won numerous DUI trials usin gher prosecutor background and great trial skills.

Legal Knowledge: Excellent

She has a total command of common Virginia Code sections relatin gto assault, sex crimes, DUI, traffic and others. She consults legal referrnce materials often and brings printed section sof legal cases to court to bolster her argument. She is the go-to attorney for traffic information in the central Virginia valley area. Judges have asked her in court about criminal Code sections because of her great knowledge

Legal Analysis: Excellent

She has drafted extensive peladings citing case law and legal treatises in numerous high profile matters, such as rape and murder cases. She wrote an extensive brief requested by the judge in a DUI checkpoint case that many other lawyers have copied and used themsleves because it was so detailed with case citations and strong artgument. Her prior prosecutor experience and the benefit of many trial allows her to quickly analyze a case for the fine points of law necessary to win.

Communication Skills: Excellent

She has successfully handled hundreds of DUi, traffic, felony and federal trial matters demionstrating an articulate forceful delivery that commands the court room. She does not need a micorphone as you can hear her strong military command voice anywhere in the courtroom. She presents a confident and professional no-nonsense demeanor that is effective in presenting her arguments.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

She does not cut corners or engage in any shady business to win cases. She is a straight shoorter who will tell the other side up front if there are issues with her evidence. She is up front in her delaings with other lawyers and clients and never sugar-coats her advice. I have seen her reject clients who have asked her to use quesitonable evidence. SHe is all about getting it right and doing it fairly.

She is absolutley, hands-down, the best trial lawyer I have ever seen. I have witnessed hundered of her trial victories over the years and she amakzes me with her common sense court arguments. She has gotten clients out of high speed reckless driving cases so oftern that she's a legned in that area. From Reckless Driving to Murder, she is a strong advocate with her commanding military presence and her extensive legal knowledge based on hundreds of trials.
