- Ryan focuses on patent prosecution in biology and biotechnology-related areas. During his graduate work at Harvard under Leonard Zon, Ryan discovered a small molecule suppressor of a zebrafish bmyb mutant. In addition, Ryan developed zebrafish genetic cancer models of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (MPNST) and melanoma. Ryan has presented his research at international conferences and in peer-reviewed journals including the Proceeding of the National Academy of Sciences and Nature Chemical Biology.
