Ryan Hutson

Ryan Hutson, Esquire, graduated from Emory School of Law in 2010 and completed his undergraduate studies at Stetson University in DeLand with a B.A. in Political Science in 2007. Mr. Hutson was a member of the Moot Court Society at Emory, where he was the Director of the Civil Rights and Liberties Competition and Director of Local Competitions. He competed in the 2009 ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Boston, then was the coach of Emory's Team for the ABA competition in 2010. His team won the Boston Regional Competition and competed in the National Finals.

As the Director of the Civil Rights and Liberties Competition, Mr. Hutson organized a moot court competition at Emory involving 24 teams from around the US and 124 attorneys and judges who judged the competition, including 11th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Stanley Birch and 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Richard Suarez.

At graduation, Mr. Hutson received the 2010 Top 3L Oralist award from Emory's Moot Court Society. As a result of his work with moot court and pretrial litigation, Mr. Hutson was inducted into the Order of the Barristers at graduation. In law school, he also worked with the Turner Environmental Law Clinic, the Homeless Advocacy Society and Student Legal Services.
