Trust but validate
I was referred to Rita Polonsky by a childhood mentor who was also a family attorney for over 50 years in NJ. I trusted her to represent me in court as the plaintiff until she testified against me in my court trial, which resulted in me losing the trial.
As a disabled military veteran and medic who served during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, I can honestly say, "I would never recommend her as an attorney". The military taught me to always "trust but validate" in any situation, but that trust was violated during my court hearing. It almost resulted in me losing my home as a result of the court's decision.
