An attorney who responds to your needs and keeps you up to date. I met Richard a few years ago when I was a witness for his client. Even though I wasn't the client at the time, he kept me informed as to the timeline of events and what to expect from the trial. After that trial ended, I needed some legal representation and he was the first person I thought to call. He has a wide range of knowledge about the law and his experience shows when he speaks with you. Likewise, if he is unsure about something legally, he will admit it and research the topic to give the correct answer. He is personable and polite, but can "lay down the law" when necessary. I have witnessed him speak kindly to both clients and opposing counsel. And, I have witnessed him directly put a lawyer in her place when she was speaking out of turn. But I have never seen Richard be rude or demeaning. My current lawsuit has been an extended one, but Richard has kept me and my wife apprised of the necessary items on the timeline and he doesn't let things fall through the cracks.
